Tonight we went to the Wills Family annual St. Lucy party. It was a lot of fun–good food, good people, flaming punch. Sadie had slept a couple of hours in her car seat and woke up right when we arrived, so she was good-to-go for the party. This girl loves a good party! There was even some food she could munch on–green beans, red pepper, pears and crackers. She was, as usual, stinkin cute and a big hit with the crowd. Best of all, she went down like a charm when we got home!
We’ve got a pretty busy weekend ahead of us. Saturday Sadie and I have her cousin, Ross’s, third birthday party (Sadie’s first time at the Little Gym–excited!). Then, Sunday we have family birthday lunch for the six (!) December birthdays AND a Christmas party at Trevor’s co-worker’s house. Not to mention running errands to get ready for Christmas and our road trip to Tennessee. I’m only working two days next week, which is a blessing and a curse. I’m excited for all of the Sweet Sadie Time and the time with my family, but I don’t have paid time off, so that’s a bummer.
