Baby, we have a due date! Of course, only about five or eight percent of women actually deliver on their due date.
We had our first appointment with our midwife, Kim. Things went just great. I’ve even got more books to read–perhaps I’ll take them as beach reading. Trevor really liked Kim, which well help everything go so smoothly. It’s going to be a little bit of a pain to go to Conway for most of our appointments (at some point she’ll do a home visit), but I think it will be worth it since I’d already gotten to know her before I was pregnant. Rapport = established.
I’m super excited about heading to the beach tomorrow. I realized that I haven’t been to the beach in seven years or something. And it’ll be the first vacation I’ll have taken since meeting Trevor that wasn’t spent driving to Tennessee (not that that’s been a bad thing!). Here’s the plan: lie around. That’s it! Lie in the sand in the shade. Watch the nieces and nephews swim and build sand castles. Lie around. Last vacation before becoming a mother!
